Ink (non-magical)

Ordinary writing ink, a common item at 1 S.P. Reams of parchment and ink are among the supplies included when a laboratory is fully equipped.

It should not be confused with magical ink, a separate alchemical mixture made from giant squid's ink with powdered gall oak and gold; one batch is enough to write up to seven spells, and it must be kept in crystal containers or it loses its power. Scrolls must be written in magical ink.
