A silver emblem of a deity, priced at 10 G.P. A practitioner of Divine Magic or Mysticism can make one in a day for 1 G.P. of materials.
Wielded by such a practitioner, a holy symbol holds off undead, demons and devils, each of which must make a save vs Will every turn to come near. Priests usually brandish one when turning undead, and demons recoil at first sight of holy symbols. Only good individuals can use such objects to force an evil summoned creature to accept a pact.
