Candles are sold twelve for 1 S.P., and a dozen weighs about 1/2 lb.

Candles have ritual uses: several invocation spells need an offering of prayer, incense or candles. Votive candles, which followers of Divine Magic or Mysticism can craft for 1 G.P. of materials and an hour's work, give +1 saves to the person they are lit for, wherever that person is, for as long as they burn, generally about 12 hours.
