Percentile results for creating a homonculous of an existing creature type, from moldy failure to a genius that may turn on its maker.

The percentile table for a homonculous copied from an existing creature. On 0-10% the attempt fails and the vat is lined with a worthless, foul-smelling mold. On 11-34% the result is a mutant, rolled on the Mutated Species Table. On 35-44% the creature forms as planned but only half size, and on 45-84% it is a perfect, full-grown copy of the creature intended.
A roll of 85-94% gives an exceptional specimen with maximum hit points and the level of the most favorable creature component. On 95-100% it is all that and also a genius with the highest intelligence its species can have; there is a 20% chance such a creature cannot be controlled, in which case it knows what it is, suffers over its lack of a soul, hates its maker and tries to destroy him or her.
