Spirit's Bane

A version of the Demon's Bane that harms spirit beings: each one in the area takes 1-8 points of damage per round until it leaves, for 5-20 minutes.

As a Symbol of Power, it is traced by hand, wand or staff, goes off when anyone but its caster sees or encounters it, reaches no more than 20 ft. in radius, and stays in place until a counter-symbol or a successful counter-spell (50% per try) removes it.
