Devil's Bane

Built like the Demon's Bane, this symbol hurts devils instead: any devil in its area takes 1-8 points of damage each round until it leaves, for 5-20 minutes.

As a Symbol of Power, it is traced by hand, wand or staff, goes off when anyone but its caster sees or encounters it, reaches no more than 20 ft. in radius, and stays in place until a counter-symbol or a successful counter-spell (50% per try) removes it.
