Those who fail a save vs Will lose all sense of direction and purpose, remaining completely disoriented for 5-20 minutes.
As a Symbol of Power, it is traced by hand, wand or staff, goes off when anyone but its caster sees or encounters it, reaches no more than 20 ft. in radius, and stays in place until a counter-symbol or a successful counter-spell (50% per try) removes it.
