Returns anyone under magical control in the area to their normal state of mind.

Anyone in the area who is under magical influence or control is returned to his or her normal state of mind.
As a Symbol of Power, it is traced by hand, wand or staff, goes off when anyone but its caster sees or encounters it, reaches no more than 20 ft. in radius, and stays in place until a counter-symbol or a successful counter-spell (50% per try) removes it.
