Elemental Power

Every creature within the symbol's area suffers 1-8 points of damage per round, as fire, cold or electricity according to the caster's choice, until it leaves. The effect lasts 5-20 minutes.

As a Symbol of Power, it is traced by hand, wand or staff, goes off when anyone but its caster sees or encounters it, reaches no more than 20 ft. in radius, and stays in place until a counter-symbol or a successful counter-spell (50% per try) removes it.
