A bleak forest of drooping willow-like trees, white wolves that howl at the full moon, crows, boggarts, gwylion and arcitenus, with rare herbs valued by alchemists. Its River of Grief, said to be the tears of the forgotten goddess Tua, gives off evening mists that bring deep sorrow, which Fomorians fear.

The Weeping Forest is a dismal land populated chiefly by white wolves that howl mournfully at every full moon, by crows, and by such odd creatures as boggarts, gwylion and arcitenus. Many strange, ancient trees grow here, most with the sad, drooping look of weeping willows, and among the tangled undergrowth grow numerous rare herbs and plants, some reportedly useful to alchemists and thaumaturges. The River of Grief runs through it, and because the Fomorians dread its mists, they never enter the forest after dark.
