The world's largest pyramid is also the political center of the Atlantean Empire. In a sacred chamber at its exact center stands the orichalcum Pillar of Law, a golden fence rings the temple on its summit, and its outer faces carry a thin silver plating. The public may enter only four days a year, at the solstices and equinoxes, and elite Royal Guards with halberds, short swords and scale mail keep close watch.
