Twin fortress barracks flanking the Pyramid Palace (Atlas to the west, Poseidon to the east), serving as armories, stores and the city's last line of defense, with catapults on their roofs and stairs to the military docks.

The pair of structures flanking the Pyramid Palace hold the barracks and stores of the city's army and form its last line of defense. They slope inward from the Inner Island wall and are always busy. Catapults stand along their flat roofs, and narrow stairs run down the outside of the wall to the military docks. Atlas is the western fort and Poseidon the eastern; in times of trouble each can hold up to twenty divisions.
