Neptus

The Great Tribe of Antilla's southeastern plateau deals with outsiders more than either of the others and so is far more tolerant of non-Tritons. Still, they expect strangers to learn: once proper conduct has been explained, repeat offenses are not forgiven.

Centuries of contact with every sort of Atlantean have given the two peoples some understanding of each other, but the Neptus know much less about other nations, since other visitors are rare. Least exposed to Makara raids, they are the most peaceful Antillans and the truest to the Antillan ideal of individualism, living in a very loose, free-form democracy in which standing reflects the respect of one's neighbors.
