Hesperia holds six colonies, five in northern Gondwana and one on the Atlantean coast. Each is run by a military governor, often called a princess, commanding 100-200 elite colonial troops and 2-8 ships. Every colony has a walled coastal stronghold, usually of advanced stone construction, which serves as the governor's base and the colony's capital. The colonies send goods and resources to Hesperia by sea, and though the natives far outnumber the Amazons, they have no part in their own government.
