A hooded summoner raises a holy symbol as a winged demon and a horned devil rise from smoke in a fiery circle, elementals swirling above.

Guardian

Summoned creature, Spirit

A heavenly avenger of wrongs against a faithful summoner.

From the book

The guardian is a heavenly spirit being that may be linked to a lawful good deity. It has a level of ability of 20 and a Will of 20. Summoned, it takes vengeance for any wrong its summoner has suffered. The Divine Magic spell Superior Invocation calls a guardian or an avatar of the caster's deity, and a guardian cannot be forced into a pact by its true name.

Kerubim, devas and guardians are modest, unassuming heavenly beings who serve their divine masters with unwavering loyalty, and they never hesitate to help a summoner who has kept faith with his or her patron deity. They answer Divine Magic invocations, which reach only beings of like alignment and belief, so no protective circle or triangle is needed, though the caster must offer prayer, incense or candles.
