Arch devils

Any arch devil will grant a full wish in place of its service. Legend says the arch devils lived among the gods with Asmodeus until they were thrown out for scheming to take over the heavens. They answer Summon Arch Demon/Devil (necromancers and witchdoctors only) and Superior Evocation (wizards and cabalists only), and even a known true name cannot force one into a pact. Each named arch devil is level 24 with Will 20.

Like all devils it comes from Hades, the nine hells, and keeps faithfully to the lawful Order of Ascendancy under Asmodeus. Summoners must be firm: devils aid those of like alignment and purpose but scorn the incompetent and anyone in league with demons, and they attack demons themselves on sight, and every devil dreads the power of good and cannot abide holy symbols. A flaw in the protective circle or triangle frees it to enslave or kill its summoner, and ordering more than its kind owes breaks the pact at once.
