Asmodeus

Asmodeus rules the race of devils from the dismal planes of Hades, a sinister, complicated being of immeasurable might at the head of the Order of Ascendancy. He and the arch devils are said to have once lived among the gods until they were cast out for plotting to seize control of the heavens. His level, Will and service are all unknown.

Now he seeks a place of power in the world of men. Mephistopheles is brutal and ruinous; Asmodeus by contrast is subtle and full of schemes, and some even claim he has a sense of humor, something never said of the grim lord of the demon hordes.
