The caster receives a mental picture of something that will happen within the next 24 hours. It might show where a sought-after item lies, a danger about to strike, or even the death of a party member or of the caster himself. The vision is always somewhat vague and hazy, but what it shows will certainly come to pass.

A scene
The party has anchored off the Isle of Dread, and the shaman among them sits alone on the foredeck, staring at the black cliffs. The vision, when it comes, is blurred like a picture seen through rain: black sand, a broken spear, and one of their own lying very still at the water's edge. She cannot see whose face it is. It will happen before tomorrow's sunset, and nothing she does will change that. She sits with the knowledge for a long time before she goes below to tell the others.
