Surrounds the caster with a circle that keeps out animals (but not monsters).

A protective circle 10 ft. in radius forms around the caster and keeps out animals of every type for 10 minutes. The barrier works only against ordinary animals; monsters are not held back by it. The spell is Non-variable, and no save applies.

A scene
Night on the Nubian savannah, and the lions had found the druid Zuri and the boy she was guiding home. She drew her circle in the dust and spoke the words, and the big cats padded up to its edge and could come no farther, pacing and grumbling a few strides away. The boy began to relax. Then something larger came out of the grass: a lion's body, a man's face, a tail heavy with spikes. It walked straight past the lions and stepped across the line as if it were not there. Zuri reached for her spear.
