Warhorse (heavy)

A heavy warhorse costs 200 G.P. and carries up to 750 lb. Heavy horses cover 30 miles a day on roads, 25 on flatland, 10 in rugged country and 5 in very rugged terrain under an average burden.

The giant Aesir are so heavy that only the biggest, costliest war horses can take their weight without collapsing. Mounted Combat II adds +2 to hit when fighting from a steed and makes the rider proficient with the lance.
