The war elephant is the most expensive animal on the list at 800 G.P. or more, twice the price of an ordinary elephant.
Elephants can bear up to 2,000 lb. An elephant tower seating two to six people costs 200 G.P., and a trained animal's value generally doubles with each additional command it knows.
