The war camel costs 75 G.P., half again the price of an ordinary camel.
Camels can carry up to 1,000 lb., and a howdah seat for one costs 20 G.P. A character fighting from any mount without Mounted Combat skill suffers the non-proficiency penalty and risks being thrown each round.
