The Saragava range forms the jagged northern backbone of Zemlazelan, a ridge of peaks and cliffs where many of the island's prehistoric beasts, such as dire wolves, cave bears, saber-tooth tigers and giant rams, survive. It is also said to shelter huge rocs, great dragons and giant otters and wolverines.
