The people of Okok are known as master craftsmen, hard-working fishermen and fierce fighters. Most towns and villages hug the coast, since the interior is still largely wild and its mountains are said to hold savage tribes. Nyoki and Kyushi produce silk, tea and incense for export to Damalawa, Kota and the rest of Khitai, and are famous for horticulture and exquisite gardens of flowers and fruit trees. Fuzho is renowned across the land for its armorers, and the best swords and katanas are made here by families who have kept up the craft for generations. The province's jungles hold many rare and brilliant parrots, songbirds and peacocks.
