Moto Nui

Moto Nui lies almost at the center of Tora but is not part of the confederation. It is the refuge of a tribe of Zephyr. One account describes them as a struggling people cut down by war and magical plagues over the past two centuries, now only a few dozen strong, who seek solitude and shun other races; another calls them warlike and reputedly cannibal. Several ancient stone barrows and obelisks of unknown origin stand on the island. Some think they are relics of a long-lost civilization, while others say the Zephyr raised them at the command of some demonic power.
