Curracurrang

Curracurrang is a mountainous region bordering the Yallock forest. Like Lemuria's Golian range it is known for jagged peaks and sheer cliffs, and on the east coast the bluffs plunge almost straight down into the sea.

The winged Zephyr hide their eyries among the western cliffs. In his famous Muvian treatise, the First Age historian Melkurion recalled how his expedition, already bruised by Mu's hardships, was relieved to be welcomed with smiles by these gentle folk. With the help of Phaeron, a minor spellcaster in the party, they learned the people's name and accepted an invitation to stay and trade knowledge of each other's customs. They remained almost six months, and when the Zephyr learned the explorers meant to push into the interior, they feared so much for them that they nearly refused to let them leave.
