Most of the New Gods rose to prominence around the time of the legendary First Age of Atlantis. Unlike the Old Gods, their worship is largely confined to particular regions and peoples.
They include Atlas and Poseidon of the Atlanteans, Hesperus of the Hesperian Amazons, Heru of Quaddan, Set of Nubia and Quaddan, Ishtar of Sheba and eastern Gondwana, P'an Ku and Shang-Ti of Khitai, the Sun God of Taracua and Tamoanchan, the Great Spirit of the Erian tribes, Sefar of the Gorgons, and Tiamat of the Naga.
