The peoples of the Atlantean Second Age honored many deities and demi-gods, and this section sketches a number of them. Even the priests, shamans and mystics who worship these beings cannot fully grasp them, for their powers reach far past anything the mightiest mortal could command.
The survey falls into three parts: the Old Gods, first worshipped by the earliest human tribes; the Immortals, a vast host of demi-gods honored by certain eastern mystics; and the New Gods, most of whom rose to prominence around the First Age of Atlantis and are worshipped mainly in particular regions.
