Zombie

The zombie is a lowly undead. It has a level of ability of 2 and a Will of 1. Summoned, it will seek out and kill, or capture, any enemy of the summoner. The Black Magic spell Animate Dead can also make skeletons and zombies from the remains of dead creatures; they obey their maker until destroyed or until the spell is dispelled.

Like all undead it comes from the shadow realms bordering Hades and the Abyss, hating the living and feeding on their life energy; any undead met in a deserted place has a 50% chance of being crazed with hunger and will attack whatever the odds. Every undead dreads the power of good, and priests or mystics can turn them. Necromancers and witchdoctors can call one of lower level than themselves with Summon Undead, which needs the circle and triangle but no offering.
