Spell, Black Magic, level 6
A single spoken word that either breaks control-type spells (and turning) on everyone within earshot, or makes lower-level undead treat the caster as an ally and obey one command.

With one spoken word the caster produces one of two effects. The first cancels one control-type spell (Slow/Haste, Charm, Hypnosis and the like) on everyone who can hear the caster; undead that another caster has turned are also released from that control.
The second makes all undead within hearing that are of lower level than the caster regard the caster as a friend and obey a single command, with control lasting no more than 1 hour. Undead of higher level than the caster are not affected at all.

A scene
The priestess of Isa has turned the necromancer's zombies, and they are shuffling away from the temple steps in a helpless shambling herd. Then Senbi, standing at the back of the plaza in his black robes, speaks a single word that rings like a cracked bell. Every zombie within hearing stops, turns, and looks at him. They are his again. The priestess raises her holy symbol and shouts, but the word has already done its work. Senbi points at the temple doors, and the dead begin to climb.
