The caster uses Astral Projection and Subliminal Perception at the same time, so that while traveling in astral form he can also perceive hidden presences or magic. The combination lasts 1 minute per level of ability.

A scene
The mystic Aurelio's body lies motionless in the camp while his astral self drifts through the walls of the Citadel of Namtu, unseen by the sentries. The halls are empty and dusty, and he is ready to call the place abandoned. But he is looking with more than astral eyes, and in the great hall he sees something the living could never see: a hulking invisible guardian stands beside the throne, perfectly still, waiting. He returns at once to his body and wakes the others.
