The caster instantly moves his own body, with materials up to his maximum encumbrance, to any place he knows at least fairly well. Distance is no barrier, but the spell cannot carry him between dimensions.

A scene
The monk Bao has spent three weeks in the libraries of Atlantis, copying texts about ancient medicine, and his satchel is now so heavy with scrolls that he can barely lift it. The journey home to his monastery would take four months by ship and caravan. Bao shoulders the satchel, closes his eyes, and pictures the monastery gate in every detail: the peeling red paint, the worn step, the cracked bell. When he opens them, he is standing in front of it, and the gatekeeper drops his broom in astonishment.
