From the book
Shatter makes a brittle, non-magical object weighing up to 10 lbs., within 100 ft., burst into fragments; glass, porcelain, crystal and even dry wood are all vulnerable. Cast in reverse, Repair mends broken objects of any kind, provided they are not magical, under the same 10 lb. limit. Either result is permanent. A scene
The Rom caravan had been attacked on the road through Oggia, and in the scramble someone had trodden on Nicu's lute. The enchanter sat by the fire that night turning the pieces over in his hands, the snapped neck, the split belly, the curl of gut strings. His cousins watched him in silence. He laid the pieces together on a blanket, murmured, and the wood flowed back into itself, the cracks closing like healing skin. When he lifted it, the lute was whole. He tuned it, played one bright chord, and the whole camp cheered.
