Magical weapons (combat rules)
Rule, Magic items
Magic weapons of any kind add their rating both to attack rolls and to damage, and count as superior-quality items when checking for breakage.
From the book
Every kind of magical weapon adds its rating, +1, +2 and so on, both to the attack roll and to the damage it inflicts. When a magical weapon has to save against breaking or other damage, for example after a parry, it is treated as an item of superior quality.
