Spider venom is a poison.

Spider venom is a poison. Four drams make a weapon venom inflicting 2-16 damage each minute across 10 minutes (half on a save vs Constitution). Three drams with a dram of mercury make slow poison: given daily in small doses in food or drink, it drains a point of Constitution every 2 days, leaving the victim bedridden at 5 and dead at 0. It costs 3-12 G.P. per dram.
