The heavy catapult has the longest reach of any siege engine: it is effective from 200 to 1,500 ft. and reaches 1,500-2,000 ft. at long range. It flings stones for 3-30 damage, needs a crew of six or more, and costs 300 G.P.
The Siege Weapons skill (1,000 X.P.) grants proficiency in firing, operating and maintaining every sort of catapult or ballista.
