Fluid dram /​ fluid ounce

In the apothecaries' liquid measure, eight fluid drams equal one fluid ounce. Many recipes in alchemy call for doses in fluid drams or fluid ounces. The liquid scale runs from minims to fluid drams, fluid ounces, pints and gallons.

These measures, and the signs that go with them, are offered to add color to a campaign and to explain how alchemists weigh and measure their ingredients.
