Vaca's Public Market is reckoned the biggest and most vivid market anywhere in the known world, drawing hundreds of vendors every day with goods from Taracua and, less often, the rest of Tamoanchan. Because the city has few shops, prices here float from day to day and seller to seller, and the listed figures are typical costs for the most popular wares, from maize and turtle eggs at a copper piece to slaves at 100 G.P.
