Ogata

Ogata is less a country than a loose pact among three island tribes, made to face possible Manuan aggression. The alliance is shaky and would soon fall apart without the Manuan threat. Its main islands, Ogaramango, Temuah and Salawati, each hold a culturally distinct tribe ruling itself, and they have agreed only to help one another if Manua attacks. Ogata also claims many small empty islets among them and all the surrounding waters, though Elysium Tritons use the shallows and sea-nomads and other travelers often stop over on the deserted isles.

Its people are dark-skinned and of average height and build. They know nothing of metalworking and use only stone tools. Of all the islands in these waters, only Temuah and Salawati see any farming of the land.
