A peak in the Okaloan highlands topped by a Hesperian citadel built to guard diamond mines; its garrison, never relieved, still survives as the Tamara, and legend says a great diamond hoard lies inside.

Mount Tama rises deep in Okalo's highlands, crowned by a citadel the Hesperians built during their age of conquest near several rich diamond mines, which later served as a vital Amazon garrison in the wars of the break-up. To the Okalans it is only a legend, but it is real, and descendants of its last garrison, the Tamara, still hold it. Male slaves farm terraces cut into the cliffs below, and lowland tales claim the citadel still hides a magnificent store of diamonds laid up before the Amazons closed their mines.
