A small desert strip on the Okalan coast where many basilisks roam free, so most people shun it. The Namaba, a small basilisk cult, live there: tall, long-limbed, ebony-skinned and mostly nocturnal, they wear no clothes and make nothing but slings, sharpened sticks and crude pottery. They eat outsiders and dispose of their own dead the same way, and fight with slings, thrown rocks, shaman magic and savage bare-handed attacks.
