A vast continent between the frozen North Sea, the Erythraean and Elysium Seas and the Sea of Baku, containing nearly every terrain from the Kaila mountains to the Tuholo Desert, Kota's jungles and Tamala's tundra. Apart from great Khitai and Mohenjo-Daro in Meluhha it is mostly home to nomads, farmers and hunters, and much is unexplored.

Jambu is an enormous continent ringed entirely by water. Its northern shore runs into the frozen North Sea, the warm Erythraean and Elysium Seas wash its southern and eastern coasts, and to the west lies the temperate Sea of Baku, a favorite route of Sheban traders.
Nearly every kind of terrain can be found here, from the soaring Kaila range of Himvati and the sands of Mongala's Tu-Holo Desert to the steaming jungles of Kota and the icy tundra of Tamala. Although it holds the great and legendary civilization of Khitai, most of the continent is peopled by fairly primitive folk. Few other lands have towns big enough to be called cities, Mohenjo-Daro in Meluhha being the best known; elsewhere nomads, farmers and hunters make up most of the population, and large stretches remain unexplored, unmapped and wrapped in myth.
