Creature, Spirit Entities
A monstrous humanoid of pure flame whose heat ignites everything combustible within twenty feet. It teaches or casts fire magic to be released from its pact and, joined with an earth elemental, can make a mountain erupt as a small volcano.
From the book
A fire elemental looks like a monstrous humanoid made entirely of flame. It throws off such fierce heat that anything combustible within twenty feet of it catches fire at once. It knows every spell of fire or heat, and it will teach or cast one in return for being released from the pact of summoning. Temperamental by nature, fire elementals dislike most creatures, but they feel a certain kinship with earth elementals.
When both a fire and an earth elemental are called up at once, the earth elemental may agree to help create a small volcano. A mountain or large hill is needed, and if the two cooperate the summit erupts, sending up a cloud of smoke and ash visible for ten miles and burying the whole hill or mountain under a foot of molten lava, poisonous gas and volcanic dust. Within that area one can see only ten feet, and anyone who fails to escape the lava is burned to ash. Ordered to attack a water elemental, the fire elemental and its opponent cancel each other out.
