Conjure Fire
Spell, Enchantment, level 3
Draws on a nearby fire to hurl a fireball or raise a wall of fire; flammables hit may ignite.
From the book
Drawing on a fire source of some kind, the caster creates one of two effects. A Fireball can be thrown up to 100 ft. and burns every creature within 20 ft. of where it lands for 1-6 for each level of ability. A Wall of Fire as tall as 10 ft. and as long as 20 ft. can be raised as far as 100 ft. away; living creatures who walk into it or are caught inside are scorched for 1-4 for each of the caster's levels, and it burns for at most 10 minutes.
Victims of either may save vs Dexterity for half damage, and non-magical combustibles struck by either effect have a 50% chance of catching fire.

A scene
The Ahl-at-Rab came thundering out of the dunes on their huge lizards, and the caravan's campfire was the only fire for miles. The sorcerer Bahram thrust his hand into it and drew out a long ribbon of flame, which he flung across the sand between the camp and the raiders. A wall of fire leapt up, taller than a man, crackling and roaring. The lead lizard ran straight into it, and it and its rider came out the other side screeching, scorched, the rider's saddle blanket alight. The others wheeled away along the wall's length.
