A towering lighthouse about 450 feet high, raised to guide ships safely into Acheron's main harbor and the canal. Its beam comes from a special lamp whose flame is thrown outward by an intricate arrangement of polished crystals and mirrors. It is never left unattended and is always strongly guarded.
